Arthur Budaghyan

Chief EM/China Strategist

Arthur is the Chief EM/China Strategist and also oversees the Commodity & Energy Strategy service. He is a member of BCA’s Leadership Team.

He joined BCA in 1999 and has served in the Chief Strategist role since 2005, managing investment strategies that span four asset classes – equities, currencies, local currency bonds, and sovereign credit – for overall EM and across 20 developing countries.

Arthur is BCA’s longest-serving Chief Strategist, well known in the industry for his in-depth research, out-of-the-box thinking, and non-consensus investment calls. He also plays a major role in upholding our quality standards for investment research and products.

Arthur holds a Master in Economic Policy Management from McGill University, and an MBA from American University of Armenia.
